How Wolters Kluwer used IncQuery for survey-based research to inform pricing and licensing decisions for a new product.
Challenge
Ahead of rolling out a new digital product for the German market, Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of information software and services, needed to determine how customers would respond to different pricing and licensing approaches.
To accomplish this, the project team needed to gather reliable feedback on a tight deadline so the company could develop a launch strategy that would resonate well with customers and lead to more revenue.
Approach
The team wanted survey-based research that could be designed, launched, and analyzed quickly. They selected IncQuery, which had been recommended by another Wolters Kluwer team, as their survey partner. The initial draft, created in Microsoft Word, was moved directly into the IncQuery platform to simplify workflows and improve efficiency.
With the ability to work collaboratively, the team was able to move through revisions quickly and launch on time. IncQuery’s survey directors, working alongside the team, provided guidance and programming support.
“We received comprehensive advice on optimization, which meant that the survey could be made available at very short notice. From the outset, the collaboration was straightforward, efficient, and fast.” — Klaus Topitsch, Project Lead
Outcome
By combining thoughtful survey design, clear research objectives, and expert support, the team was able to gather detailed input about pricing and licensing preferences. This helped them position and roll out the new product, confident it would connect with clients.
“The data we collected was extremely valuable for our go-to-market strategy.” — Klaus Topitsch, Project Lead
