Custom Checks
You can create QC flags for your specific survey.
These are flags that require a bit more creativity to link the conceptual checks with the specific survey context. Please read your survey carefully to identify opportunities for checks like the below. Do not hesitate to add questions or choices if that helps you set up more effective checks!
Fake awareness
- Checks for: Fake awareness of products, brands, and/or modules can be useful checks.
- Notes: Fake brands and products must be carefully thought out. Mere awareness of fake brands should be considered as yellow flag, not a red flag
- Useful for: B2B and B2C surveys
Outlier checks
- Checks for: Answers well outside the norm to identify respondents who are not attentive or knowledgeable
- Example: Respondents with >25 med spa visits a week
- Useful for: B2B and B2C surveys
Impossible/Illogical answer combinations
- Checks for: Identifies answers across two questions that are not logically possible
- Examples:
-
- Using a company for 10 years if it has only been in the market for 2 years.
- Answer combinations that are extremely unlikely such as 18-24 year old with $150,000 or more in household income
- Useful for: B2B and B2C surveys
